Travel to Sacred Power Spots
Sacred Power Spots
Swami Vivekananda, the renowned student of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, said of India, “Every particle of dust of this land seems sacred.” Much of the true spiritual wealth of India is drawn directly from her power spots. Every site has its own fragrance, carries its own power and purpose. The energy that is experienced at these holy spots generates through ancient power objects and Vaastu principles. Visiting sacred sites is a form of spiritual practice and an important part of receiving a transmission of divine energy.
We can trace the divine heritage that King Krishnadevaraya left for future generations of saints a seers on journeys to Hampi—the seat of his vast kingdom and where Lord Rama met Hanuman, Tirupati—the home of the Golden Temple and Lord Venkateshwara, the Vishnu avatar of this yuga—and, of course, Penukonda, where the saint-king established his own spiritual “university”, within the confines of his “divine mystery fort”.
Shirdi, a small village near the Giri Mountains, is where Sai Baba of Shirdi lived and shed his light on all the world. One of India’s and the world’s greatest saints, Shirdi Baba performed amazing miracles and healings during his lifetime and there are innumerable accounts of miracles performed by him since his Mahasamadhi in 1918. His remains are buried in Shirdi. The small temple called the Dwarkamai, is visited by millions of devotees each year.
The Sacred Power Spots Journey in Sourthern India
An 18-day power journey conducted by Sri Kaleshwar’s senior students includes travel to South India’s most holy sites that are intimately linked with this Lineage: Penukonda, Hampi, Tirupati, Sri Kalahasti, Shirdi and Sri Sailam. All the information that Swami has taught about these places will be shared and discussed, including stories and historical anecdotes, Vaastu principles, and the inner secrecy of the energies operating in each power place. There is also a good chance Swami will join us somewhere and share his blessings.
The sites we will visit are:
- Shirdi, a small village near the Giri Mountains where Shirdi Baba lived most of his life. You will visit his Mahasamadhi shrine—the place where Baba promised that anyone who visits will receive the answer to their prayers
- Sri Sailam, a Shiva temple that houses a jyotir lingam, a supernatural lingam that miraculously sprang forth from the earth
- Tirupati, the home of the Golden Temple and Lord Venkateshwara, the Vishnu avatar of this yuga who turned into the statue now housed in the temple
- Sri Kalahasti, a Shiva temple with its supernatural crystal lingam
- Hampi, the saint-king Krishnadevaraya’s vast kingdom; here we will discover the link to Penukonda and to the divine lineage of Sri Kaleshwar
- Penukonda, the home of Sri Kaleshwar and the Shirdi Sai Mandir Ashram, located within King Krishnadevaraya’s ancient Fort walls
